Xin Xin is a good doe but... she could benefit from a more positive attitude as she has lost top spot in the show ring a couple times due to her moody personality, which is unfortunate because she behaves herself just fine on the ranch. I guess she's the 'Prima Donna' of our Alpines.

 

For her age she has displayed exceptional longevity and is usually the first thing judges point out in their assessment. The strength in which she tracks about the ring and the elasticity of her mammary at her age is very impressive.

Her udder too is quite impressive and could possibly be the best on the ranch. Her foreudder is perfectly smooth and extends well into her barrel. I wish I took more photos of her over the years but I was new to goats at the time and didn't realize the kind of doe she was. Her rear extends further back than any doe I've ever seen and she carries it extremely well, especially given her age and her milk production.
